Our next MASE/Florida TURN Labor-Management Collaboration Conference is set for January 22-23, 2015 in Tampa, FL. We are excited to be able to provide this opportunity to bring together collaborative teams of union and management from accross the MASE/Florida region states.
MASE/Florida TURN has been working to bring together labor-management teams to examine programs, policies and practices that impact teaching effectiveness and student learning. We have been working to develop collaborative partnerships to improve teacher effectiveness and student learning through teacher evaluation and measures of student growth.
WHAT Two-Day Labor-Management Conference for MASE/Florida TURN teams
WHEN January 22, 2015, 9:00am-5pm. Registration begins at 8:00am.January 23, 2015: 8:00am-2:30pm
WHERE Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association, 3102 N Habana Ave, Tampa, FL 33607
WHO Teams representing union and teacher leaders, school and district administration, school board members and state leaders.
DETAILS Florida TURN will cover sub pay and one night’s lodging for up to 2 teacher/union leaders, 2 school/district administrators and 1 parent/community leader from each participating team. The registration fee is $50 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch on both days. Hotel Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Tampa Marriott Westshore located at 1001 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa, FL. The rate is $189 per night excluding tax and fees.
